The Little Canuck: Musings From a New Land |
Moving to a new country provokes thoughts, ideas, feelings, and realizations that I never would have expected before I uprooted my life in Canada to move to the heart of Scandinavia. For any fellow Canucks or other nationalities out there who have moved to (or are planning to move to) Sweden, consider this your anecdotal what-to-expect survival guide! Sweden is my home now, so join me as I continue my overseas adventures and share my reflections, opinions and (alas!) often embarrassing confessions on a plethora of topics! ONE LAST THING! If you have received a follow or a like from me and were expecting a veggie-related blog, you've come to the right girl, just not the right place. www.eatconsciouslylivekindly.tumblr.com is where you'll find all things vegan. :) Enjoy! |
Hello, everyone!
I hope you are all doing well and making some great plans for this coming summer! I just wanted to write to let you all know that I won’t be posting on this blog as often as I used to, but that I have not disappeared! You can still find me posting daily at:

If you just started following this blog in hopes of finding some great veg resources, then I suggest you take a look at my other blog, instead. This one’s still all about Sweden, Baby! ;).
It’s a GORGEOUS day here in Halmstad, and the weather is finally getting warm; you can see the fresh buds on the trees and happy little flowers just bursting with excitement over all of this sunshine! All the people here, in true Swedish fashion, are spending every possible moment outdoors soaking up the rays, and I’m feeling inclined to join them! :)
There have been lots of changes in my life lately, so I thank you for your support and all of the follows. I continue to enjoy following many of you, and wish you all the best with your future Tumbling!
Lots of smiles,
Swanadianme / eatconsciouslylivekindly <3

YES! Although this is not Sweden-related, it is something that should be considered by all of us regardless of nationality. Eat more plants; it has much wider implications that just the ideas of health, kindness, or the environment by themselves…it’s all of them, plus common sense! I hope you’ll take the time to keep an open mind and watch this.
Keep smiling!
