Moving to a new country provokes thoughts, ideas, feelings, and realizations that I never would have expected before I uprooted my life in Canada to move to the heart of Scandinavia. For any fellow Canucks or other nationalities out there who have moved to (or are planning to move to) Sweden, consider this your anecdotal what-to-expect survival guide! I’m home! Indecently glorious amounts of maple syrup at the local Saturday morning farmer’s market. Clearly I had no choice but to partake in enjoying the sweet, natural Canadian goodness :).

Notes Across the Atlantic…I’m on my way back to the motherland tomorrow!
For three glorious Tim Horton’s-filled, maple leaf-loving, english-speaking weeks, I’ll be back home visiting friends, family, and celebrating Canadian Thanksgiving at the cottage. I love Sweden, but sometimes a little vacation home is just what a gal needs. Balance is key.
What does this mean for my blog? LOTS of posts, I hope! I’m thinking that three separate flights back to Toronto will be more than ample time to conjure up some long-awaited stuff for you guys.
It’s packing time now, however, so I look forward to posting from ‘the other side’ soon!
